This is for who has made so many wonderful drawings for me. This is her Chibi Mercury. I was very pleased with how she turned out. As always comments are preferred over faves Sailor Moon (c) Naoko Takuechi This character (c)
This is my first critique I figured I'd try it out
Okay, for the face, the eyes seem to be placed a bit weird. If it's in a 3/4 angle, the eye on the left needs to be a bit thinner while the eye on the right needs to be slightly closer to the other eye. Also, the pupils don't really look as if they're looking at anything so put the pupils as if they're looking out at you. It gives it a cool effect The head should also be a bit longer (unless you're going for that style) and if you do elongate it, make sure the nose goes a bit farther down. The hair is cute but it looks slightly stiff. It's really cute though!
Moving onto the body. The arms look like they're the right proportion compared to the rest of the body and the legs appear right as well. I'm not very good with anatomy though so you might want to get a second opinion. As for the clothing, I recommend putting more clothing folds in just to give it a more realistic feel. It also makes the piece look more detailed if you add more folds The dress is cute and the outfit as a whole goes well with this piece and the background.
The background is adorable! I think it fits well for a piece like this
Also, just a quick note before I finish, I'd add more shading and highlighting to really make the character pop. It'll also give a more 3-D effect.
