This is my favourite of your mother/daughter drawings. I think you’ve really started to perfect the use of poses and variation between the different people in your drawing and this just fully proves it.

I really like how you’ve drawn the girls. The poses look really nice. I like the mirror effect with Naosu and Kimiko, it is really sweet and very natural. (I can so relate, my older brother and I use to wear the same sweater for family photos… So seeing these two in the same dress and matching bows is really cute. The one thing that seems off about the two is they look like they are about too slip off the couch. The way one leg is kind of over the edge. They need to be moved back slightly.

Hotaru looks really good, the shading on her dress is nice and subtle, there is a nice velvet-feel to it (I don’t know if that was intentional, but it is there) Yes I guess Yumi looks more like a toddler, but I think it still works really well. I don’t like drawing babies, but the easiest way is just to wrap ‘em in a blanket haha, that way you only have to draw their heads/faces. But Yumi looks good, I like her dazed expression. Hotaru has a nice little smile, though it is definitely on the boarder of a frown, so I’d watch that.

The automen (or whatever they are sitting on) looks good. I think the purple used could have been a bit more pale so not too stand out as much as it does. The pattern used looks good and adds a little bit of something to it. I really like the background, it has a crinkled paper effect and I think it is a nice background look. It is still pale and doesn’t over power the piece, but it has SOME sort of texture to avoid a total white wall.

So all in all, I really think you are stepping up your game. It really can’t wait to see more, and it is great too see you taking note from peoples critiques and actually using them in your art cause it is totally showing and in a short little time you’ve been improving a lot more. Fantastic!
